Jacksonville State gave Auburn a better game last year than Vandy would have. Georgia Southern and Georgia State won more games with a weaker schedule than Vandy did. That makes me laugh.

Eh, let's not get carried away. The highest ranked of their "haul" is #560, and there is considerable drop off afterward.

If you take our class and cut it in half by the rankings, Vandys class of 9 looks very similar to the bottom 8-9 in our current class.

I'm not sure what to make of the second point. I would expect teams with weaker schedules to win more games, if all else were equal.

looking at it side by side it seems our bottom 9 (sans the kicker they don't have one for comparison) ours are still better in overall rankings. and most of us aren't excited about those bottom 9. most of us have a list with how many of those guys wont be in our final class. On the other hand vandymania is blowing up with the awesomeness of their class. their number 1 would be our number 9. also, offer lists.

Clemson, Ohio State and FSU were common for us while FAU Dartmouth and Samford were common for Vandy. again that is the big difference for me on Butch's three stars and Dooley's three stars. even if its just offers and not real interest the quality is there for us where it isn't for Vandy.
