Well, no, we weren't all that serious about it.

I will say, however, the idea of "Vandy bringing the conference up academically" is asinine. It literally makes zero sense.

Stuff like this is why I hope to destroy them unmercifully for another 25 years. I hate Vandy more than any team not named Florida. They got pounded harder than a Deadwood hooker, and nothing they did was going to stop that from happening. Enjoy the sewer gutter trash.��

hahaha,,some people. A lot of us just don't give a ****. I can build a 'puter from basically scratch, program a raz or arduino to do most anything, use my intervolameter to take amazing photo's - but when it comes to doing something on mobile - when it rings, I may or may not answer. Believe it or not but a lot of us use those nasty little devices only as phones. And we hang up when we drive.

Didn't Vandy lower their academic standards to get players in while we raised ours? I'm pretty sure Vandy was accepting people that couldn't get into UT just a few years ago until we got Butch Jones and he got that rectified.

Thats how I am, sometimes I'll answer but most times the phone is just there for an emergency. I can't personally do anything with technology but I feel my carpentry/welding/locksmithing skills are more important to someone with my lifestyle.

Not so much as lowering standards..but creating BS degree programs that foosball players can "easily" be accepted into...you know like a Bachelor of Sciece in Sports Communications Paper Shredding Staple Gooder Shake Hands and Smile.

In all seriousness, can you imagine how depressing it is to be a Vandy fan? You never have National championship hopes. Hell, you hardly ever have bowl hopes. Year after year, you're looking forward to which FCS teams you'll beat to win your 2 or 3 games a year.

I'm just waiting for them to start their yearly rant thread about how an 8-4 Tennessee or a 7-5 Arkansas team got better bowl invitations than they did when they went 8-4 in both 2012 and 2013.
