it was fun watching them build up.

Yay we beat MTSU, we can hang with SEC teams and can beat the Vols and Mason can coach. and we are going to a bowl game.
OMG! we beat Missouri, we are winning the East and going undefeated, Mason is a genius! we are going to a New Years Six bowl.
WTF we lost Houston, fire the coach get rid of the players, but we still play the Vols close.

Haha! It's gone beyond getting rid of Mason. There is a thread over there that actually discusses getting rid of the football program! Talk about a beat down fanbase lol.

Soooooo 2 things. Apparently they recently banned or scalded one of their own for campaigning against Derek Mason,his comment was "one down, one to go", and the other thing is that we have joked several times in this thread(myself included) about how vandymania is a dictatorship and don is the ruler. Well, I present to you them saying and admitting that very thing and being okay with it/against those who choose to speak freely. Starts 9th post down but whole thread is funny.

Oh dear...

I'd say there's about an 80% chance that 5-7 gets us a bowl game. The harder part of the situation will be getting that 5th win. I think we can beat Kentucky, but the offense has to do a 180 if another will follow.

OR the defense is going to have to start forcing more turnovers and creating short fields or scoring themselves. This season has shown us that more often than not, 20 points is all we need to win a game.

Do they not understand the selection committee would look at ticket sales in addition to that 5-7 record?

Vandy couldn't even fill a stadium that was a 3 hours down the road from their school when they were winning. Do they honestly expect the to be invited to a game when they have a losing record?

If Richt gets fired either this year or next, Vandy could do worse than back up the bank truck to hire him.

1. Established SEC coach
2. Good recruiter
3. Moral guy
4. Doesn't care about winning at all costs.

Hiring a guy who underperforms with UGA to coach talent level of Vandy wouldn't end well. Need a guy who can maximize little talent and outcoach even with less talented team.

you need six. and no more than six losses. UCLA had to get a waiver/special permission from the NCAA to go when they ended the season 6-7. so no way in heck Vandy goes @ 5-7. that 80% is a joke

You can go to a bowl with a 5-7 record IF

Bowl slots are available and no 6-6 teams are available. It would then be based on APR of the 5-7 teams.

Vandy fans on Twitter are even more delusional than Vandy fans on VM.

Because they played Florida close and lost, and we played South Carolina close and won, they are now convinced they will win out and go bowling and we will go 6-6.

Oh, and everything Butch Jones does is more evidence that he's everything from a scumbag to an idiot to a cheater.
