The (many) indictments of Donald Trump

A woke bureaucrat would use this type of fictional media to justify keeping the A10 as a viable option on a modern day battlefield. Helicopters better at deception and detection. Of course it always depends on the mission, scenario and the desired end state.

From Thunder Versus Lightning: A Performance and Cost Analysis of the A-10 “Warthog” Versus the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter
Abstract
For decades, the U.S. Air Force has contemplated replacing the A-10 Thunderbolt II “Warthog” with a newer fighter aircraft. However, a quantitative analysis comparing the Warthog’s performance and costs with those of its intended replacement, the F-35 Lightning II Joint Strike Fighter, shows that retiring the Warthog would be operationally unsound and fiscally imprudent. The rationale for the replacement is that it would increase airpower capability while controlling costs. That rationale does not withstand scrutiny. An effectiveness analysis based on results from a survey of joint terminal attack controllers indicates that the A-10 vastly outperforms the F-35 in providing close-air support (CAS), a critical requirement for future conflicts against terrorists and insurgents. A cost analysis demonstrates that replacing the A-10 before its service life ends in 2035 would cost at least $20.9 billion. The replacement plan would waste substantial resources and seriously impair U.S. military capabilities. Given that constrained future budgets and low-intensity conflicts requiring precision CAS can be expected, the U.S. air fleet should include the A-10 Thunderbolt II.

Im all for drones and swarmbots but lets be honest, a considerable chunk of that "needs of the modern battlefield" is so some defense contractor can make bank and some general can guarantee some directorship or contract upon retirement

Since we're on the A-10; I've been going to the FL panhandle since the late 70s. I definitely miss seeing them fly over the beach as they used to.

The Air Force has based their decisions on the Risk to Reward.
The problem is that the Air Force thinks you can win a war by bombing an area to death when in essence you can't win a war without controlling the ground. I know you know that, but the Air Force still does not understand it.

It's probably more that the AF doesn't want to understand it. I don't think the AF leaders are too stupid to know that bombing alone has virtually never worked; they just prefer to think next time it will if you spend enough money to make new things.

I've come to the conclusion that the planned drones to augment the F-35 are basically the aircraft version of a trailer because you can't get your luggage in a sports car. The F-35 is something like the tiny purse that a wife uses on formal occasions - flashy, insanely expensive, and doesn't carry most of the stuff she needs ... so your pockets get filled.

Irony: Jack Smith’s Team Admits Incorrectly Telling Court DOJ Turned Over All Materials

Special Counsel Jack Smith’s team admitted in a federal court filing in Miami this week that the government had not, in fact, given all of its evidence to the court for President Donald Trump’s defense team to review — the same thing Trump is alleged to have done.

Yah - $13m for an A-10, $80m for F-35. And that isnt even considering operating cost differentials.

Dont need this one plane does it all. Have F35s own the sky then have the warthogs QRF ground and pound for close air support.

The latest four charges are ridiculously pathetic. The democrats have learned well from Joseph Stalin how to treat your political opponents. Prosecuting a legitimate crime is one thing, criminalizing a difference of opinion rings of Nazism. I am absolutely ashamed of our current government.

Trump Indictment Continues Pattern: Day Of, or After, Bad News for Biden

Special Counsel Jack Smith’s indictment of former President Donald Trump on Tuesday matched what has become a familiar pattern: Trump is indicted on the same day as, or the day after, bad legal news emerges about President Joe Biden and his family.

It has happened four times:

A difference of opinion? Did you even get through 3rd grade? That is the most absurd comment I've yet read on this board--and there is a lot of freakin' competition in that regard. You and other MAGA don't seem to understand that there's a fundamental and very massive difference between facts and your uninformed opinions. We don't decide elections based on opinions. Americans vote, and the votes are counted, and one person gets more votes and wins more STATES than his or her opponent. Period. Trump was defeated but was unwilling to accept defeat and so he lied, lied blatantly, lied without any facts to support his lies. Nobody gives a damn what the gangster's opinion is, because the gangster is a corrupt and sinister man. He tried to subvert our democracy and the will of the people, and that is criminal behavior. Period.

The new indictment says it was a crime for Trump to question the election results. Where is the indictment of Hillary Clinton for the same thing? Lol. These guys are so pathetic. I think the good thing to come out of this is that duped Americans will finally wake up and realize the democrat party is nothing more than a bunch of crooked communist garbage.

“Americans vote, and the votes are counted, and one person gets more votes and wins more votes than his or her opponent.” In 3rd grade we learned popular vote doesn’t win an election. Electoral college determines an election. But that’s if you competed 3rd grade.

These charges are a joke.

Really: You think lying for weeks in attempt to subvert an election is a joke? You think trying to gin up an alternative slate of electors in a few states and bully the vice president into failing to do his constitutional duty is a joke? You think trying to bully the Georgia state head of elections into "finding" a specific number of votes that will give you the state as opposed to your opponent is a joke? You think inciting an attack on the U.S. Capitol by a big crowd of deeply misguided rednecks--an event that resulted in the deaths of several people, including four or five police officers, is a joke?

The only thing that's a joke is the pathetic, ignorant, unAmerican, disgraceful, dishonest mindset of gangster supporters. It's not surprising that they are congregated mostly in the deep south.

When they were using RWY 1 at NAS Pensacola the IP for the VFR entry to the landing pattern was the gate to Fort Pickens on Pensacola Beach at 1800 AGL We called it the scenic tour.

Trump lost, ACE. Period. End of story. And I meant, above, gets more votes and wins /more states/ than his opponent.

You are either the biggest liar here or a brainwashed left wing nut job. Maybe some of both
