I was a road racing fan in the '60s and early '70s - F1, LeMans, Can-AM, SCCA. I witnessed in person Jacky Ickx, Jody Schecter, Jacky Stewart, Jackie Oliver, George Follmer, Mark Donohue, Peter Revson, Denny Hulme race in Can-Am races. I sat in the 1972 Shadow Car when I had a pit pass for the Can-Am at Road Atlanta.

I help with a ministry over where i live. A lot of the guys that come through, it's for addiction problems, are from over there. The guy who started it was from there, and went through a similar program here.

The guys name isn’t Chris is it?

That area has been a drug haven for as long as I can remember. I had way to many friends, in HS, become addicted to various drugs. Some no longer with us, some in jail, situation. I hightailed it outta there and straight to Texas right after graduation!

There was a chris that came through, but the guy who runs it is Andy. They go back to area churches over there once a month and share about tge ministry.

Ah. My brother in law started an addiction ministry after he went through his problems. He also has a prison ministry. One of the happiest days of my life was when he came around and changed almost everything about his life.

He's still around, just doesn't post much. He has a new name too, Rockytop12345 or something like that.
