I would take Kiffin back right now in a nanosecond. I think he would relish the chance to redeem himself and we would be a romping stomping Vol Nation again.

That was never the problem then either.
He was HC of The Raiders. He eft us for a better Blue Blood in USC.

It's not a matter of his coaching abilities.

It's personality that is the problem.

He could be winning 11 games a year, BECAUSE of that we would STILL worry because HE HAS ALWAYS LEFT US BEFORE.

Kiffin is a great coach, but he also part of that tarnish on UT Football.

No...get some neaenergy and perspective at UT.

Start with 44th ranked winning % among active coaches....coached at a big tkme program USC and won......high scoring offenses....toe to toe with bama.....cocky, and bring attitide to an otherwise dormant Tennesse program....oh and he'd rank even higher since some coaches above havent even coached a full season....
I honestly take Herman 1st then Kiffin......but you can't argue the excitement that Kiffin brings to the table.....

I don’t think Kiffin is a bad coach. But he is definitely not a great coach. That, he has proven. I give him one win over Saban had he stayed all this time, and it took me a while to get that in print. He has some brilliance compared to his competition, but he has panned out as mediocre. He is what he is. But either he or us would have moved on by now. I’ve learned this same lesson with women.

If that’s your criteria for finding a winner, then LOL is all I have to say.

And another thing.....it’s pretty pathetic that you and others would expect Kiffin to come here and be loyal to UT after dumping us after 12 months, then turn around and dump Ole Miss after 12 months to rejoin us. Dude, seriously?

1. Where has he not won football games?
2. You do know he had the clause in his contract with UT when we hired him.....he might have the same clause with ole miss...
3. What's your critia for a winner??
