My decision to think Kiffin is a good coach was never based on anyone else’s opinion. It just happens to be the same opinion as the majority of people who have played, coached, or studied the game of football. Kiffin is an electric offensive minded coach and exactly what our dead program needs. You obviously don’t like him. Good for youHe’s not terrible but he’s an 8-4 head coach and has been everywhere he’s been. But you go be another everyone jumped so I will too person since you can’t have a decent discussion.
Kiffin has consistently shown himself to be aAnd we’re off....can’t understand why but...ok. Still holding on to 2009 too tight?
I mean everyone was saying this in 2008, that worked out great didn’t it?
I don’t understand this need to back to Kiffin? It’s like a battered wife going back to her beating husband
I don’t care anything about him. I’m going by his results. What in his results makes you think he will be anything more than an 8-4 coach here? If you don’t want more than that then that’s fine as that’s an improvement over Pruitt for sure. I agree we need an offensive coach but I don’t see Kiffin as a HR hire like some. He’s not a bad hire but he’s far from a slam dunk. I’ve been “studying football” for decades now and have played plenty. That literally means nothing as to whether Kiffin is a good coach or not and whether he would work out here or not.My decision to think Kiffin is a good coach was never based on anyone else’s opinion. Yeah, that’s tough. It’s not just Pruitt either. Look at what has happened the last decade. Dumpster fire at an administrative level is being kind. When you’re looking at whether or not to take a new job the most important thing is who you’ll be working for and whether or not you will work well together. We have a tough sell from that standpoint. Hopefully the good outweighs that to someone of good quality.I don’t see anyone lining up to want the job the way Pruitt was thrown under the bus.
