Not for the Tennessee job at the moment. If people don't think he had offers already that he turned down, then pay attention to the extension and raise he got right after the season. Auburn and South Carolina both offered him. Florida also engaged in conversations with him pertaining to his long term plans as certain stipulations could lead to Mullen skipping town within a year.Kiffin would leave Oxford, MS in a heart beat.
Since when is a .632 career winning percentage coach considered swinging for the fences? Kiffin has been basically the same at every stop, an 8-4 coach. Is that better than Pruitt? Of course. Is that going to satisfy for long? No.I'd rather be turned down by guys that are considered "swinging for the fences" vs settling.
of course if it was my decision, I'd load the boat and offer guys like Lincoln Riley the highest paying contract in the entire country to get them here. Make them turn down money
No, there isn't.Already a few reports of kiffin having interest in the job.
Read it again. A lack means a deficiency. He didn’t say no proven coaches. His solution to the lack of proven coaches was to go with Kiffin. You can tell yourself he’s not a good coach but the majority of people in the football world disagree with you, not meYes he did. He literally said with a lack of proven coaches available we might as well go after Kiffin. I’m not sure how you read that any other way.
He’s not terrible but he’s an 8-4 head coach and has been everywhere he’s been. But you go be another everyone jumped so I will too person since you can’t have a decent discussion.Read it again.
