If you haven’t looked around and noticed the evidence suggesting Kiffin wants the job, that is on you. Then you misunderstand the term. The burden of proof lies on the original claim. Which is that Kiffin would accept the job if offered.
Some of you are upset that Kiffin did Tennessee basically the same thing Johnny Majors did Pittsburgh.
Majors left Pitt (after a NC no less) for Tennessee. (basically his "dream job")
The absurdity that so many are displaying in the delusional idea that we could just go and get Kiffin if we want him is astonishing. He is becoming the new Gruden.
We might as well start saying he owns land in East TN, claiming he’s on planes to Knoxville, that he’s enrolled his kids in school, etc.
There’s absolutely no chance Kiffin would take this current disaster of a job, especially considering the penalties that are coming. Especially when far better jobs are right around the corner.
We’re making ourselves look pathetic. Kiffin left here after one year and now many are desperate for him to come back. It’s like begging your ex-wife who very publicly dumped and humiliated you to come back.
This can't be stated enough. Honestly, I'm not sure he would want to leave if he got the chance. I definitely don't think he would leave for any college job.To me, the fact that Kiffin saw our fanbase at its worse and said "I really want to go back to that" says a lot about him. I don't think he truly appreciated the job till he left.
There’s no evidence. If you haven’t looked around and noticed the evidence suggesting Kiffin wants the job, that is on you.
I will say with 100% confidence that Kiffin has reached out to Randy Boyd. I’ve heard through the grapevine that he’s also reached out to the Big Jim, and while I do believe that, I can’t necessarily say 100% that is true.
Absolutely, no questions asked...bring this guy back!View attachment 341934
Yes or no? Wanted to see a poll on it for this point in time.
If you say no, you're just still salty about something that happened a decade ago. Yes, I was pissed. However, who wouldn't take their dream job if offered? Don't lie to yourself. Lane would've won big here if he stayed and he will win big here if he returns with our resources.
