The Impeachment Thread

Your Democrats in the house are responsible for throwing up their hands and taking their ball home.
And to answer your stupid question because he's the M..Fn president! For 5 more years
You're obviously one of the ones Trump was referencing when he said he could shoot someone in the middle of Times Square and his followers would still worship him.
Trump did understand a segment of society. (with Ailes', Bannon's, Starr's, and Manafort's input)

There is no pressure on the Senate. Without the paperwork they can't so crap so why would they feel any pressure?
McConnell is feeling more pressure today than he did yesterday because of Bolton's statement.
The pressure for a semblance of a legitimate trial is growing, and that is McConnell's (Trump's) worst nightmare.

LMAO squared.
They brought evidence. Enough to legitimately impeach Trump. The trial is the responsibility of the Senate.
The house did their job. Will the Senate do theirs? It looks as if they will try their damnedest not to.
Will the Trump leg humpers accept the Senate neglecting their sworn constitutional duties? Of course they will.

Legitimately impeaching the president without one Republican vote. And doing your job in a secret bunker where Republicans were repeatedly told they could not ask certain questions nor call witnesses? That sounds fair. And if they voted to dismiss it all today I will be totally fine. Eventually the shenanigans of Shift will come out. And once again it's not the senates job to gather evidence. That would be like asking the 12 jurors to find more evidence in a trail they are hearing. You are a special kind of ignorant. LMAO

No he's not. There is no reason to even discuss witnesses until Nancy hand over the paperwork or appointed the managers.

John Bolton now says that he would testify. "I have concluded that, if the Senate issues a subpoena for my testimony. I am prepared to testify." - John Bolton said in statement on his website.

It would have been nice if he would have just complied with the subpoena from the House, but this is an interesting development.

The house never subpoenaed him.

The House sought his testimony but ultimately never subpoenaed Bolton, and Democrats withdrew their subpoena for his former deputy after it was challenged in court, as Democrats wanted to move forward with their impeachment probe and not wait for the court's decision.

John Bolton says he is prepared to testify in Senate trial if subpoenaed

Lol. Don't ever give up hope. No chance he testifies.

This means the end for Trump. Well, maybe not. Maybe, just maybe, Trump blew up the Iranian guy as a quid pro quo to Bolton. Trump: "I'll blow this dude up if you (Bolton) agree to testify, and lie under oath for me." Bolton never saw a Muslim that he didn't want to blow up. Anything to start a nuclear war.

Why wouldn't you want him to testify? Trump has done nothing wrong, right? One thing is for sure, Bolton's story will be known ... there is no way he was signed to that fat book deal, just to be a good soldier for Team Trump.

You are right... but his counsel had sent word to the House Oversight Committee that he wasn't going to comply with a subpoena without being court ordered to do so. He was going to sue, or something to that effect. Obviously, something has changed.

Maybe he didn't want to participate in the house circus.

The house played politics, the Senate will also play politics.

But for this fantasy to happen McConnell has to call him as a witness and then the President can still keep him from testifying. Let it go. Say it with me.

Impeachment is over until the house impeaches him again this year

And what does that matter Jim Comey wrote a book.

Unlike Comey, Bolton was appointed by Trump. Bolton is not a liberal. On it's surface, Bolton would have no reason to be vindictive towards Trump or to do anything other than tell the truth. Bolton will very likely echo many of the same things that his top aide, Fiona Hill said. Not good.

Hey goofbowlbro

Innocent people are not bound by anything to prove their innocence. It's the house responsibility to persuade 67 Senators with their evidence. And they can't.

He doesn't have an axe to grind? Did I just imagine the president firing him? And I'm sorry what first-hand evidence did FH bring to the house impeachment?

That is a matter of dispute. John Bolton says that he resigned. Donald Trump says that he fired him. I guess it depends on who you want to believe, because one thing is for sure... Trump's track record of dishonesty means nothing to you.
