Now, you can say that Trump didn't ask Zelensky to look into the Biden's on the "perfect" phone call or talk to Rudy, but he DID say that.
All the testimony linked together-- For example, when Taylor's aid said he heard the President's phone call in a restaurant from Sondland's phone, Sondland verified it. While Sondland said Trump wouldn't mention the aid but only the meeting, he assumed it was aid, too.

If people died (or even may have) because of a conspiracy theory due to his paranoia that Biden (Obama's VP) was beating him in the polls, then he deserves to be impeached, regardless of party affiliation. We do not want to set that precedence.
