The Impeachment Thread

Why does the person in the office of the President need be someone you strive to be? I can't think of a President that I would strive to be like. They are all a bunch of narcissists who have sold their soul to the devil to get in office. They are all liars. Politicians are not to be put on a pedestal. I just want politicians that don't f*** everything up.

Dim criteria

I asked the question bc he said it’s why he couldn’t vote for Hillary. It’s what he implied.

Is Hillary “who you are and what you strive to be?” That was his question. Seems the opposite is fair no?

You clearly missed where Luther is the one who said it. I was merely turning the tables on him as you attempted to do to me but it wasn’t my words.

You're still doing what so many trumpers try and do.....
Blame Trump on the left:
* If you guys had run a better candidate
* Hillary sux
* If you guys didn't continue to try to overturn the election
* If you guys didn't try to vilify him 24/7
* blah, blah, blah
You guys nominated him over 16 others, that has nothing to do with dems.
You guys chose him to be the face of your party, the one who best represented what you are and strive to be.
You guys continue to support him and will nominate him again unopposed to represent your party and be the face of what you are and strive to be.

I never once tried to blame Obama on the right.
And he won because his opponent was Hillary.

You blame Trump solely on the right. What others point out to you is the left didn't do a very good job opposing him by running Hillary. It's a case of both sides are to blame. But your narrow mind doesn't want to acknowledge that your side screwed up. Nope, has to be someone else's fault. A set of events led to Trump becoming POTUS. The GOP is to blame for Trump being their nominee. The Dems are to blame for choosing Hillary as their nominee. The voting public is to blame for Trump becoming President. Everyone has a part of the blame, so continuing to assign it to on side is stupid. I still believe if the Dems had run someone other than Hillary, they most likely would have won in 2016. But for whatever reason, they still refuse to own that.

Read the post he was responding to. Luther is the one who implied a party's nominee was about who you are and what you strive to be. He wasn't the one making that case.

And I agree with 72. People shouldn't strive to be like our current politicians. They should strive to be much better. Maybe then we could fix the system, but it won't happen as long as you can make Congress a life long career. We need Congressional term limits, but you know they're not going to do that to themselves.

Because it's an inconvenient truth.

Interesting. So if you were on trial for murder and all of the evidence presented against you was people saying they talked to someone who heard you on the phone saying how much you hated the person you supposedly murdered and one person saying they presumed you were going to kill this person then you would be just fine being convicted of murder, correct?

Listen to something besides Fox No-News every once in a while. Get enlightened with facts. Dr. Hill , Sondland “correcting” his lying self

You and your liker (GOD II) are Russian Bots?

There are many reasons Trump won the Electoral College, one of which was 10+ years of demonizing Hillary. There's documented proof in this forum. People did seem to vote against something rather than for something.

Yes That’s the polite version although not totally truthful. The truthful version is a$$holes. And true to form you failed to acknowledge the testimony of just two Hill and Sondland and the fact that that the innocent Dotard fails to let Mulvaney et al testify

How dumb can you be?

The impeachment charade is crumbling before your eyes. It’s not going to happen. Looks more and more like it’s going to be a bipartisan effort not to impeach.

Little Adam is now grasping at straws. It’s good theatre.
