  • In June and July of 2016, cybersecurity experts and firms, including CrowdStrike, Fidelis, FireEye, Mandiant, SecureWorks and Symantec all stated that the DNC hacks were part of a series of cyberattacks on the DNC committed by Cozy Bear and Fancy Bear.
  • During the summer and fall of 2016, Russian hackers intruded into voter databases and software systems in 39 different states, alarming Obama administration officials to the point that they took the unprecedented step of contacting Moscow directly via the Moscow/Washington hotline and warning that the attacks could risk setting off a broader conflict.
  • In September of 2016, US Department of Homeland Security officials and the National Association of Secretaries of State announced that hackers had penetrated or sought to penetrate, the voter registration systems in more than 20 states over the previous few months. Federal investigators attributed these attempts to Russian government sponsored hackers and more specifically Russian intelligence agencies. Four of the intrusions into voter registration databases were successful, including intrusions into the Illinois and Arizona databases, although the hackers did not appear to change or manipulate any data. Illinois officials stated that information on up to 200,000 registered voters was stolen.

The fact that they claim that they know who did it because they left breadcrumbs indicates that they don't know how nation state APTs work.

If our Intelligence organizations don't know how nations state APTs work, we are in trouble.

Our intelligence DFIR investigators know how nation state APTs work.

The most likely conclusion is that we are being lied to.

If any member of the House (R or D) believes the evidence that the President abused his power is compelling and do not vote to impeach they should resign or be removed for failing to uphold their oath of office.

I've gone through the training with our intelligence DFIR investigators and currently work on teams with former intelligence agency investigators.. They know how nation state APTs work.

That is from the Office of the DNI assessment... The Senate Intel Report says virtually the same thing. The most likely conclusion is that you are determined to believe whatever you think benefits Trump's position and posting anything else in response would be a waste of time. If you want to think that our entire intelligence apparatus is lying to us (including the GOP controlled Senate Intel Committee).... that is your concern, not mine.

You know what? This isn't worth giving out any more information about myself.

Let me just reiterate that you don't know what you are talking about, or what word you're taking. The fact that they gave that kind of specificity, with that kind of certainty, indicates that they are at minimum overstating their case.

No she isn’t. We have a system of checks and balances to keep every section of government in check. She better watch her partisan self. If dims didn’t get outraged every time Trump farted and they weren’t allowed to smell it things might function more normally. The constant delusional outrage by the left are the only signs of a wannabe monarchy.

This thread is all over the place today. Apparently Trump, Hillary, Obama, and *insert Democrat name here* are all going to jail.

Not gonna lie, this crap is getting old. They are guilty, no those other guys are guilty, no it was a unicorn! Then the Q stuff starts, and it gets weirder than the unicorn.

After decades of investigations, Hillary is out and about. There's nothing there. There will be nothing there. Stop. Hate her all you want, if the GOP hasn't been able to nail her by now, it isn't going to happen. Just stop.

As far as the impeach inquiry goes, there needs to be more. I have no doubt Trump is a shady bastard that broke every law in the book to get to his position today. He's probably committing a felony right now. But if we are going to go down this road of impeachment, the proof needs to be overwhelming and undeniable. I'm not sure we've reached that point yet.
