The Impeachment Thread

In case you Diehard Trumpers missed it, per his interview on FoxNews, party's over...

Kenneth Starr:

“There will be articles of impeachment,” Starr said, according to The Week. While that seemed a foregone conclusion before, “it was just confirmed today,” he added. “Substantively, what we heard from [Intelligence Committee Chair Rep. Adam Schiff] just now is: It’s over. We now know — this is his position — we now know that the president, in fact, committed the crime of bribery
I heard him at about 1:00 and he definitely didn't go that far.

But you support a radical and voted for him to buck the system. You think you're moderate? lol
I actually am more centrist. For example, I really don't GAF about abortion other than I don't want to pay for it. I want your clowns out of my ****ing wallet. And yes I voted for Mr Trump because he was not the same old politician. I have never liked the man personally, but I do like what he has done policy wise. We are all better off and would be even more so if the establishment would get the **** out of the way.

'Free' college is not a right.
The .gov taking money from me to give to you is not a right.

There are no laws preventing him from being subpoenaed to testify.
Trump has people ignore subpoenas constantly on questionable legal grounds. I think the whistle blower would have much firmer ground on which to stand when ignoring the subpoena.
Why not just agree, the whistle blower for the dotard and his senile lawyer?
Who doesn't see the beauty in that?

So in other words, throw a turd in the punchbowl and force everyone to take a drink. How convenient. I guess that whole due process and innocent until proven guilty thing is just a bunch of hooey in Democrat world.

How do you feel about the voucher for education?

As usual wrong, if they mis remember a date that little pencil neck twerp will be looking for a perjury charge. This is a fake investigation and a circus.
You don't get indicted for perjury for misstating a date, unless the date is a central issue. You get indicted for perjury on substance.

he might be able to fight a subpoena but there is no law preventing him from being subpoenaed

Republicans seem confused. Some of them are attacking Sondland. Others are complimenting him for his "truthful testimony."

I think they were so stunned by what he revealed this morning that they don't really have all their talking points together

He's been proven guilty. That ship has sailed.

You can get indicted for perjury if asked "what did you have for breakfast" and you say "ham and eggs" but they latter find out you also had orange juice and didn't tell them.

There was no law preventing Trump's minions from being subpoenaed. They were. Trump is just terrified of the truth getting out.
Trump withheld aid in return for a public statement by the Ukrainian president that was intended for nothing other than to help Trump in 2020. It's crystal clear.
