Maybe too people would believe they were trying to protect the Constitution if it weren't for the constant prove your innocence and if you're not guilty you have nothing to hide commentary. One can't pick and choose which part of the Constitution to defend and which to trash.

That's what it looks like to me. None of this feels genuine.

In an era of hyper partisanship backed by news media that isn't even just biased but are completely playing favorites with their coverage (on both sides)....I don't see a way any of this could be viewed honestly one way or the other. But what has been obvious? The Democrats have been trying to find a way to get him out of office since November 9th 2016.

in one of his arguments he freely acknowledged that the Clinton impeachment trial DID NOT include NEW witnesses. each had already given testimony. since he's arguing the Clinton process should be followed it seems that the witnesses should be restricted to the ones the House already talked to.
