The Impeachment Thread

they had the votes to seek all the truth they wished. instead they punted. they (and their acolytes) will always have to live with this error.

all I can figure is they thought having only 1 article was insufficient so they decided to make another out of their strategic error.
Again, they were foolish enough to believe the truth was a more widely valued commodity. Having witnessed 3 years of Trumpism, that was a more than a tad naive.

You obviously don't posses the intelligence to understand that everything you are asking for the house had the ability to follow the law and go to court over these witnesses. But they chose not to.
They thought it would be much faster to go through the Senate. Which it would be if the senate had the backbone to actually do the right thing. Instead, they will do whatever they can to keep the truth hidden from the public to protect Trump.

No Cletus he didn’t answer the question in his own words because he can’t. Executive privilege is not abuse of power, Trump was within his rights to do so as you and the rest of your Trump hating buddies are about to find out. The upside to your sides shlt show will only result in us taking back the house and further driving your party into obscurity. Sleep well.. I know I am 👍
Sounds as if you're already sound asleep and in the midst of your version of a wet dream.
The waking reality will be painful.

Listening to the "trial" yesterday, Schiff ate Sekulow's lunch. Shiff may be a pencil-necked, buggy-eyed nerd, but he's a damn good litigator. Sekulow honestly came off as being shrill, and oh BTW, had a tangent about "Lawyer Lawsuits" that was completely laughable. The dude was convinced that one of the Democratic House Managers was talking about "Lawyer Lawsuits" and that really pissed him off (being a lawyer, I guess). Of course, anyone paying attention knew that the Democrat made references to "FOIA Lawsuits". FWIW, Sekulow was completely bent out of shape over absolutely nothing, and this was closest thing that the proceeding came to being amusing yesterday.

Going back to sleep now. Wake me when it's over, and Trump has his 'victory parade' at the SOTU address.

Do people believe if the Senate moves forward without relevant documents and witnesses the House Dems will stop? There will be new information come out daily up to and beyond the election and they may repackage the articles of impeachment and cite the "crimes" and do it all over again.

Oooh i hope so.

Mr. Trump’s purported history with stimulants. Reports going back decades assert that doctors prescribed Mr. Trump phentermine. The FDA approved the stimulant medication phentermine for weight-control, but physicians also prescribe it off-label to treat ADHD. Phentermine prescriptions receive less government scrutiny than more tightly controlled stimulants like Ritalin or Adderall. During the presidential campaign two years ago, pundits extensively discussed Mr. Trump’s sniffing, grimacing and hyperactivity, and whether these behaviors indicated a habit of snorting cocaine or other stimulants. Months ago, individuals who worked on the reality show The Apprentice claimed that Mr. Trump routinely snorted Adderall while on the set. The issue achieved greater prominence following Mr. Trump’s recent Presidential Address, with a flurry on Twitter noting that his frequent sniffing and visibly dilated pupils might both indicate ongoing Adderall snorting.

Nice plagiarism going on without citing your source counselor. They teach you that in law school, you just too lazy to use quotation marks and cite sources or could you not convey it in your own words?

Question: If Trump moved to Russia - or any other President for that matter - and stopped doing his job altogether, would you want him impeached?

There's no crime committed in this scenario.
what a dipshit hypothetical. That breaks the oath of office 🤦‍♂️

“I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."

Nobody believes the left will stop , regardless of what the senate does . Even if Trump is removed , they will just start on Pence . The only question is will the lefts continued assault and lack of doing anything else in congress cost them votes on Election Day .

Trump is a meth head. Now I get why all of the republicans were up in arms about not being able to keep their drug dealers. Quack Doctors and the opioid crisis.
