The Impeachment Thread

This sham of an impeachment is political suicide and they’re about to find out come November. I look forward to regaining the house and watching Trump implement his agenda unencumbered his second term..
We'd better hope Trump is draining the swamp because I don't trust the corrupt Republicans to have a stranglehold on all three branches any more than I would trust the Dems.

Why do you think the Dems have gone bat shlt crazy? I have 100 % faith in Barr and ZJohn Durham. Trumps upset the Ukrainian slush fund for the Dems and they’re not going away easily.

Stopped reading at “I never made it a binary choice.”

Impossible to take anything following that statement seriously when, earlier, you were trying to eliminate other choices by making up reasons not to conduct the investigation through established channels, until they cleaned out all the people who weren’t loyal to Trump.

Stopped reading at "stopped reading" since you either didn't read or comprehend what you read even when meticulously explained. Your latest reply is more of the same.

I think she’s not sending them over bc she wants Trump to SOTU while it’s still hanging over his head. If the senate had already acquitted him he would rant and rave about how he won. Now he will rant and rave about having not had a trial. Smart political move IMO.

Won't faze him a bit. The left has smeared the guy everything in their Stasi repertoire, shoved the "Russiaaaah!" meme back down their throat, and continues to kick the left in the nuts.
You're so infatuated with the Nazi/Hitler/racist/antisemite propaganda, you still don't recognize what you're dealing with.

Ridiculous political nonsense.

They rushed impeachment through the house because Trump is “an existential threat” to the country.

Now you think it’s a smart political move to use impeachment like a negative campaign ad?

Utterly disgusting.

Hell, calling trans-man Sheila but refusing to call him a 'her', is an existential threat to the left.
And soon to be a hate crime if they have their way.

I have never called him any of those things but thanks for playing.

Didn't say *you* did, and it's good you agree with none of those things, including traitor/treasonous/Russian asset.
I don’t. He’s lying scumbag who has no problem pissing our future down the drain by expanding the debt. If you have kids you have no reason to vote for him. Or any of them who will do the same.

The future is exactly why I'll vote for him.
Congress is your spending problem.
He doesn’t sign off on those? I must be confused. Those budgets don’t exist unless he oks them. So yes it’s on him. Start being honest with yourself and what’s going on. You knew that but decided to blame congress.

Who you going to vote for in 2020?
Don’t know yet. But maybe, just maybe, if we as a electorate refused to vote for someone who would grow the debt we would fix this ****. The problem is people don’t want to take a stand. If you think it’s a huge problem then I encourage you to take one.

I get what you are saying, but you have to go with a realistic option. If votes are split from Trump, then a nightmare of unimaginable fiscal consequences could occur.

It is not a one man show and good luck reining in entitlements and mandatory spending. Congress controls the purse, so I would suggest focusing on these candidates. All 435 in the House and 33 in the Senate this cycle.

He’s signing off on deficits that are out pacing Obamas. At a time where we aren’t staring down a financial calamity. Say what you want about Obama, I am not a fan, but Jesus why are operating under that approach?

He wants to rebuild the military and Pelosi/Shumer want their goodies. I was all in the balanced budget amendment.
In 1965 mandatory spending was 5.7% of the budget. Today it is 60%. Let that sink in and it is not just a Trump problem, but a systemic 55 year DC problem.
Guess what was enacted in 1965? The Great Society.

What happens if he vetoes all spending Hill?
