The Impeachment Thread

I looked for the point but all you said was that "Trump killed the media" and it seems that's all you've got.
What I am saying is that the main stream media is dying. With social media sources.. like Twitter... there is no need anymore for Wolf or Sean or Rachel or that O'donnel clown. People will get their info directly from the source. All those except the ones that can't handle the unfiltered message. Trump fired the first shot. The next president, if he is more traditionally 'presidential' (eye roll) will pick up the ball and finish the play. The MSM is dying before your eyes.

They will still be around, but it will be low information people that will patronize them.

And the high information people will be looking to Trump for their news.....LMFAO

I understand the point is over your head as well, but at least you are acknowledging that Mr Trump will be the next president. Baby steps....

And you aren't laughing. You're scared.

bwaaaaa haaaaaa haaaaaa

Do you mean the Supreme Court justice appointment Mitch stole? You mean Iran not now bound by agreement reverting to status quo? Border wall? You mean that 25 mile patch Mexico didn’t pay for? Energy Independence? Pass me what you’re smoking. I want to hallucinate too

Yes all the above. And guess what he just got more money for more wall. Lol. 5 more years minimum. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

So status quo on the low information part?

They are not members of the mainstream media. They do not report the news. They give their biased opinions on the news. I disagree that mainstream reporting is dying. Look at the reporting that John Carreyrou did for the Wall Street Journal in exposing Elizabeth Holmes and Theranos for fraud. Performed the right way, the mainstream media still provides an essential check on corruption. In the case of Theranos, it involved more than just exposing the financial de-frauding of investors, it involved placing the health of thousands of people at risk, who were trusting their junk "technology".

The ratio of real reporters to opinionists is staggeringly small anymore. Everybody wants the soundbite. Just like everybody wants to be on the ESPN highlight footage for big hits... meanwhile, the art of tackling is long lost for most players anymore.

That depends on where you are looking. I can see why you would feel that way if you are just watching cable news and scanning through social media and political blogs. That is not where you will find journalists.

Let me know when you find some because based on your posting history, you clearly have not.

I just mentioned one. John Carreyrou, formerly of The Wall Street Journal. He won a Pulitzer Prize for his reporting on the fraud of Theranos/Elizabeth Holmes. He also wrote a NY Times best-selling book entitled "Bad Blood: Secrets and Lies in a Silicon Valley Startup" which covered this story and his reporting. I have read it and it's a very compelling book.

So how much did he contribute to the garbage you post?
