The House followed the same rules and procedures of previous impeachments.
The Senate should do the same.

Everyone has bias, but not everyone is partisan. Don't confuse the two.

If Congress has oversight on the POTUS, who keeps an eye on Congress to make sure they're not misbehaving? Whoever it is isn't doing a very good job.

In the past two days I've seen people on FB that NEVER post anything political one way or the other post numerous pro Trump posts. Congrats Dems, you have made 110% sure that Trump gets re elected! Finally the Democrats have done something right!!

I just said that the Democrats process was garbage, it was, and asked why you thought the Republicans would be any different. The very question suggests that the Republicans will act exactly the same as the Democrats.

As I said before, apparently the majority gets to decide what's legitimate. The Dems did that in the House. They don't get to set the rules for the Senate.

JMO, but Nancy holding up the process undercuts it's legitimacy in the eyes of the public. She thinks she's showing strength, but that's not how it comes across. The Dems would be better served to let the Senate do it's thing, then campaign on them letting Trump get away. That is, if they are correct in the American public detesting Trump. They're failing in political strategy IMO and basically shooting themselves in the foot.

I still go back to my original position. They should have let Trump serve his term and put together a better plan, found a better nominee, to beat him in 2020. Let Trump beat himself.

Sure everyone is partisan, as a reflection of their biases. To what degree is the issue.
I guess we always refer back to the Constitution, who did they give the power to keep an eye on congress?

This impeachment was actually worse than the Clinton impeachment. The Clinton impeachment didn’t rise anywhere near the level of impeachable. It never should have been brought. Trumps impeachment isn’t anywhere near the level of Clinton. The bar has been lowered. You’re insane if you don’t think the Republicans won’t impeach the next democrat president for not using a crosswalk.

This is just another political **** show. A waste of time. A waste of money and not what they were sent there to do.
The house was rigged and in case you didn’t notice the bi partisan support in the house was for not impeaching the president. The Republicans own the senate and will put this away in a manner that helps them the best politically. There are no good guys here.

And it’s moronic to believe otherwise
