While the AF game was a close game, I wouldn't think UT fans would be thrilled about playing them close. Or want to relive what happened in the closing minutes.I found an article on a website that had these 10 games listed as The Greatest Rewatchable Tennessee Football Games Of All Time. I know that obviously there are a ton more that could be on this list, but they closed it to 10 choices. Now you vote on your choice, let's decide which one on this list is the most rewatchable.
10. 2006: Tennessee 31 Air Force 30
9. 2001: Tennessee 38 Kentucky 35
8. 2016: Tennessee 38 Florida 28
7. 2014: Tennessee 45 South Carolina 42 (OT)
6. 2006: Tennessee 51 Georgia 33
5. 2007: Tennessee 52 Kentucky 50 (4OT)
4. 1991: Tennessee 35 Notre Dame 34
3. 2004: Tennessee 30 Florida 28
2. 2001: Tennessee 34 Florida 32
1. 1998: Tennessee 28 Arkansas 24
God these kids. Does no one know football was played prior to 98?I found an article on a website that had these 10 games listed as The Greatest Rewatchable Tennessee Football Games Of All Time. Anybody that wants to watch those Kentucky games or the Air Force game again needs a labotomy. Those games were painful.
Replace them with:
1986 Sugar Bowl vs Miami
1992 vs UGA
2004 vs UGA
I was a student at that game too and felt the same way. Plus Harrell tore his bicep and we knew that we Florida coming in town the next weekend. I think that 06 home loss to Florida probably bothers me more than any other I’ve been to. Possibly the 06 LSU home loss.Really strange the 06 Air Force game is on the list. Was at that game as a student and no one felt like we had won the game walking home that night especially with Inky’s injury.
85 and 89 Auburn, 90 Florida, 91 miracle, 92 Georgia, 95 bama, 98 arkansas, national championship, 01 Florida, 03 bama ot, 04 Florida, 07 kentucky just to see us break their hearts, 07 Georgia, 13 and 14 uscjr, and 16 Florida all are great games to watch.
I agree attended both of those games. In fact the entire 1990 season should be required viewing for any true Vol fan. That was Johnny Majors best team IMO and he still couldn't win it all.Despite it being a loss, I would throw the ‘90 Notre Dame game on there. One of the best football games I have attended.
And the beat down of FL in ‘90 was a lot of fun.

Edwards was running all over us that 1st half. That was my senior year on The Hill. I was drinking shot after shot of Goldschlager before the game and puked a gallon of vomit into a trash can in the 2nd quarter. A cop saw me and kicked me out. Good times. LOL.
As I recall, we caught a break with Robert Edwards being injured after running all over us in the 1st half.
In 1990, the year before the Miracle at South Bend when we lost to Notre Dame at home was a terrific game too! Even though we lost that day, it was one of those rare occasions where the L didn't feel so bad because you had two extremely talented teams playing at the top of their game and it really just came down to the fact that somebody had to lose! It sucked that it was us that day but it was a great game and a real joy to see that much NFL talent on the field at one time! Plus the comeback win by us the next year takes the sting out of it even more in hindsight.
