Impossible to say really without seeing the swing. Could be too steep. Could be equipment. Could be ball position etc etc etc.

Where you hitting the ball high when Scott did your fitting? Swinging slower is not the answer. Changing your tempo won't fix it. It's a swing issue. Have someone look at it

I have always had a high ball flight. It is just higher than normal now. I hit blades before I got these clubs. I am wondering if moving to the more forgiving club is causing it.

I would say it didn't help. Most cavity backs & GI clubs have a lower center of gravity & some offset both of which will cause you to hit it higher. I know you just got new irons but maybe a combo set where you have muscle backs in the short irons & they progress to cavity backs in the longer irons where you want some forgiveness & higher ball flight.

I thought that's what I was getting in the 825 pros. I may go back and talk to the person who fit me. He is just so busy/booked its easier to get info from VN!

Probably be my next set.

It just dawned on me that you're playing the same clubs I am. Yes . . . It's the clubs. I had the same issue with ball flight. It sometimes feels like I'm hitting them straight up, but it doesn't seem to affect my distances and the wind doesn't seem to hurt as much as I thought it would. There's definitely a learning curve as far as iron distances go though.

what does BST stand for? I always kinda thought all of it was a a joke, a bunch of try hards is what it is. If some of the people on there are as good as they say they are then they should be on tour.

Buy-sell-trade. You can get some really good deals on there.

i honestly think that if you do bent the right way, its the pretty hard to beat

No doubt. But for most courses especially in the southeast it's not very feasible to have bent greens. It's just too tough to maintain & if they lose them it's even more money down the drain.

Good deal. I figured going from a blade to a slight cavity back may cause it. I hit my short irons slightly shorter now but I can get used to that.
