The Golf Thread

Saw an Optishot golf simulator in the golf galaxy magazine. Pretty expensive, but might be cool to have at home with the kids. Anyone ever try it or anything like it?

Y'all will find me crazy but one of the easiest balls I've played are the Wilson Eco balls. Maybe I'm just that bad (I'm not really) but I've enjoyed them and they're only $10 a dozen

I enjoy the Top Flites as well.

Favorites might be the Sirixon Trispeed series and Bridgstone E series

Played yesterday. 8 over front w a couple three putts and a triple. Even on the back w two birdies for an 80.

I triple once a round now. It's depressing.

I'm playing tomorrow afternoon. A course around here has a deal, after 4 $20 bucks for a bucket and as much golf as you can get in before dark. Definitely get in 18, maybe a little more if it's not too busy.

80 today with a triple and two doubles. Pleased, but think about the 4-5 bad shots that killed me. Can't be shortsided on this course.

Anyone ever hurt the inside of the right elbow/forearm from golf? Hitting the ball better with a new swing, but my elbow is jacked up. Weird place.

Anybody played River Islands this season? I may tee it up there Monday.

Played there 3 weeks ago. Greens still needed a little growth in spots, but other than that it was great. Got a good deal also from golfnow.com @ $25/person.

Shot 81 with 2 lost balls.

Played in the beginning of April when I was in town.
Played solo, first off the tee in the morning with the ground crew following around all morning.
Shot a 77 with the audience. Was only 1 over going into the 13th, and we were talking on each hole. Of course after talking about it and them seeing the round, it fell apart and ended 3 over the last 6 holes.
Going to be in town this weekend anyone been to 3 Ridges lately---if so how is it looking?

Three Ridges is in good shape, as of last week. I've never been a huge fan of the layout, but I've had some pretty good rounds there.

I'm teeing it up at River Islands at 8:30 Monday. My 2nd favorite course in the area (Willow Creek).

Appreciate it. Love River Islands---fun course and can score well. Figured try and get to 3 Ridges and be the first out Sunday or Monday---beautiful first thing in the morning on that course.

Leaving work early to kick off the 4 day weekend and have a 2:40 tee time with my nieghbor. Will probably be the last time I play the community course, since I start my new job in Arkansas on June 4th...
