Usually from behind the ball first. If unsure, behind the cup. If still unsure, I step out away from my line and try to see the fall line/undulations

I don't know if there is one around you but I went to the PGA superstore about a month ago and they had a bunch of used drivers for around that price.

MacGregor MacTec NVG2. I think I have a 9.5*. It's a few years old but I can still smack it further than anyone I know with an R11 or anything newer than my NVG2. It should be way under budget for you too, check it out on ebay.

Honestly, most of the time, the newest technology will only help you hit it fractionally longer, if any at all. No need to waste two or three hundred on something brand new.

I found an 09 for 119.00. That's the one I was looking at. The Cleveland Launcher is another I considered.

I think the 09 Burner TP is probably the best driver they've ever made. I don't really care for the R11.

Yeah I actually had to do some research because I was thinking the same thing you were. It said he had some kind of prolonged back injury. He's just now started to get back into the game after missing 5 years.
