I usually have zero tolerance for people that throw away chances. There's just something that kept drawing me to the guy. There's something about the everyday guy shtick, I guess.

The 2 up and downs on #17 by Bill Haas in the playoff today were pretty damn impressive, getting that shot out of the water to spin and check up at 3 feet was one for the highlight reel.

The shot from the hazard was great but he got a big break with the ball not being more submerged. What I want to know is how he hit that shot and kept his shirt so clean.

I'm honestly not shocked he got spin on it. It's basically a bunker shot since the ball wasn't submerged.

Doesn't change the fact it was a tremendous up and in.

. I sat on that hole on Saturday and my greatest concern for Haas was that the slope was so steep that he'd bust his ass on the way down the hill and fall in the lake.

My best friend finally went with a draw driver after watching his long, swooping slice go right for many years. No amount of range time and corrections seemed to change his tendency to drive decently for a few holes and then the big swoop. For him, the draw driver was a complete fix. Can't say for anyone else, but it really helped him. It also took a lot of pressure off standing on the tee worrying about when the screwball was gonna emerge and always aiming down the left side. He now just swings.

If you don't want go go with the draw, I suggest the Ping K-15 or G-15 if you are a mid-to-high handicapper or don't get to play much. Those two are pretty good slice fixers for us poor souls who can't play much and are erratic off the tee.

Most of the golfers who post regularly on this thread are excellent players....so don't listen to them at all. :p

I'm just using the stock Mitsubishi Diamana stiff shaft. Right now I can't imagine changing, I'm longer and straighter than I've ever been. Trajectory is absolutely perfect.
