He has one of the most underrated resumes in the sport, probably because he's so unlikable. It looked like initially the move to LIV wasn't going to hurt him competitively because he won the 2023 PGA soon after joining, but he's withered on the vine since then.

Another knock on his relative to Scottie's is that Brooks hasn't done much outside of majors. Obviously majors count for a lot but it isn't everything. He's got 9 wins on Tour...4 are majors.
Injuries have hampered Koepka as well.

I think he has 5 majors.

it’s ridiculous. I’ve been in the lottery every year and have never gotten a ticket.

It really is crazy. It looks like those that win should be omitted from the next season or two to give others a chance even though you know the vast majority go to their special interest groups. I’ve been a couple times but it was because of a friend.

I’ve probably been 5 or 6 times but none in the last 15 years or so. I’m just not that interested in trying very hard.

I’d prefer a Monday or Tuesday practice round just to go with my step sons, they’ve never been. Of course I couldn’t walk the course right now due to health issue but things are coming around.

So, looks like Rory is completely skipping the first round of the FedEx Cup playoffs and won’t be playing in Memphis at the St. Jude’s.

With the new system this year, all you have to do is make it to East Lake and then everything resets, so he has enough points to get there only playing in the 1 other tournament. Can’t imagine this is what the PGA wanted to see when they changed to this format.
