same as dale's.
the grips i'm going for are 5.49, and the labor charge is $2 per club. i've never done anything like that myself, so i'm not gonna take the chance on trying it.
i have a golf pride soft-tie on my driver. i like it, but for the irons i wanted something a little different.
anything will be better than what i have on there now. the original grips, and they're about 15 years old. they're getting so bad that i've been looking my best for a right handed nike golf glove...but then i decided to take the leap.
i will consider that next time i'm looking for a glove. right now i just have two of the same footjoy.
i usually have two at any point in time but have been known to have 3-4 in the summer because i have serious hand sweat. i try to get one i'm comfortable with and one to try out.
yeah, we've discussed the hand sweat thing and I'm in the same boat during late June, July and August. I typically always have to switch at the turn. I've never understood why the Titleist glove feels so much better and lasts longer than the Footjoy for me. It seems since they push their Footjoy product so much, Acushnet would make it the best glove.
yeah, if you average at least once a week or so, grips should be changed yearly for maximum performance. You will probably notice a significant difference.
Sorry, I just don't agree with that. Grips should be changed when they feel or appear worn, not before. Of course, I also don't change my oil every 3k miles, so I guess I'm just sort of a rebel:cool2:
if you play once a week or so and your grips don't feel or appear worn after a year of play, I'd be shocked.
I change mine once a year and that's plenty. A soap and water washing does wonders for them too. I just use vanilla ols tour wraps and still love 'em.
Bill I think the Titleist v Footjoy glove thing is probably the model. The Titleist Players glove and FJ Perma soft are same thing with small difference in thickness.
