The Golf Thread

I'm everywhere man.

I imagine there are other golfers that read the thread, but if you had been playing for 20 years and still shoot 95, would you post it?
I would've probably quit the game.

Depends. Someone could play for 20 years but only a handful of times a year and be content with a 95.

Punched out a snap fade a little close to this fella today. I don't know how bad alligators are at golf courses in Tennessee but they are all over Louisiana courses.

I could see someone shooting 95 and posting that they shot 80. Some people just play to enjoy it, and don't care what they shoot. Nothing wrong with shooting 75, 85, or 95.

Actually, 95 sucks. And somebody that posts they shoot an 80 but really don't probably cheat on the scorecard or kick the ball around anyway.

Shooting 95 and it sucking or being good is relative to how long you have been playing. Someone playing less than 3-5 years shouldn't be pissed at a 95 IMO.

There are a few variables you have to consider here. Type of beer, amount consumed, heat index on the day you are playing, and number of pee breaks. If you have the proper balance I think it can help. The wrong balance and you will have a long day.

90 today at Crocket Ridge in my first time playing in 2 weeks. A rough 48 on the front and played great (for me) on the back and ended with a 42.. Had potential to be even better. Had a birdie lip out, left the easiest eagle putt of my life 5 inches short on a perfect line, etc.. Can't seem to break 40 on 9 holes.

Good job on the back nine dude! I love that back nine. Except hole #11. I hate that one.

41 on 9 holes at Cattails today.

Almost had my first hole in one. Hit right in front of the flag, bounced and hit the stick, and rolled off a little ways to the left of the stick. So close..

I quit for almost 15 years and just started playing about three months ago. For me 84 is a good round.
