For those who have played in tournaments, I have a q. If u are using caddies and yours is raking a bunker is I legal to have your competitors caddie clean your ball for you once u are on the green?

I think it's legal, but some guy was telling me it's a penalty.

Also very tempted. I still play the Callaway Steelhead Plus 15* and I love the thing. Hit it very consistently and what I thought was far. Played with an old friend a couple of weeks ago who has never has never had my length (which isn't much, especially on this board), but he was consistently hitting it 20 yards or more further than me with with his Rocketballz. I couldn't believe it. On the final par 5, I hit one as pure as I'm pretty sure I could and his sounded fat, but he still beat me by a wide margin. My three wood is the only club in my bag I haven't replaced since I got back from Afghanistan. He also has the driver and was doing the same thing.

Did you hit/swing it? I've never have the luxury of trying other peoples clubs considering I'm left handed.

I found one on ebay for $199, think I'm gonna replace the old cobra f speed as I am tempted also

No, I haven't hit it yet. Afraid if I do, I'll be purchasing one. My question though is why pay $199 on ebay when brand new they're only $229?

I don't see what the penalty could possibly be.

I don't know of any rule stating who must/can clean the ball. It just states it can be lifted and cleaned if on the putting green.

Edit: but to the opponent's point, it is established that while you can share the same caddie, each player may only have one caddie. I'm not really sure how a rules judge would properly interpret that. Rules are made to be ridiculous as we all know. Technically I guess it could be proven that the player who has one caddie raking a bunker and one caddie cleaning a ball has two caddies and that is grounds for a two stroke penalty.

I have seen them do this plenty of times on the PGA.

Anyone ever hit one of those Cleveland niblicks? I bought one recently 'cause it was 25 bucks and just wanted to say I had a niblick. 49 degree. Mashie, anyone? Shades of I Love Lucy. Haven't put it in my bag yet.

lucked up and got an r11s driver and the rbz irons for fathers day. i was shocked to say the least. my fam snuck my golf bag out to trade in my irons. i would have shi if had noticed they were gone.

cleveland cg14 56 degree wedge
odyssey white ice sabertooth putter
all stiff shafts...

need to ditch the 5 wood and get a 60 degree wedge i am thinking...

How do you like your Burner 3 Hybrid? I like to hit mine off the tee.

i love it. out of those clubs, i have had it the longest (3 years). it's pretty worn out, but i do hit it quite often.

hit the rbz irons yesterday on the range. i gotta say, they are some crisp feeling clubs. added about 10-15 yards for each club from my old irons. can't wait to get them on the course for an actual round.

I'm heading to Destin this weekend. Have a tee time at The Links Course at Sandestin on Monday morning. Anybody played it or have a better suggestion?
