Last years Old Tire Strawberry Bed was lackluster to say the least. Could have been the everbearers I chose. Could have been the bed design.
But, when I put up my greenhouse, I left one side of the 4x4 base extended and boxed the end and made an instant 10'x18" bout 10" deep raised bed based with cardboard. That got filled up this weekend with a blend of topsoil sand, and decomposed black mulch.
My strawberries now have a new trial home for this year.
Blueberries, Blackberries, raspberry, figs, grapes, peach, apples all now freshly mulched in.
And the monochrome repainting of the den repainting project I got voted to do is now complete too. Same color baseboard to base board actually looks really goo and has visual impacts for a room. All trim, walls, and ceiling same color. Brick on fireplace a contrasting color. BTW, Sherwin Williams Pepperorn & Reflection are great colors.
