We can sit around for weeks and debate the hire and evaluate signing classes, but the fact is nobody knows what is going to happen in the SEC in the next 3 years.
Sure, Florida stuck it to everybody in recruiting this year. Need I remind you that was just three weeks after Meyer took retirement?
Things are not as stable as they appear in Baton Rouge or Athens. We honestly have no idea how long Saban will stick around Tuscaloosa, nor do we know how long Meyer can keep his anxiety of playing Saban (again) in check.
The bottom line is that a lot of things can change in a year or two. Buckle your chin straps and enjoy the ride.
