Guilty of what? It's strange that the justice at all costs folks who advocated for torture and the patriot act and other means of circumventing legal procedure in order to procure "justice" now want to shift the focus back to procedure when it comes to evidence against their guy, and apparently, totally ignore the fact the the evidence, however it was obtained, indicates collusion with foreign powers.
Does it matter at all that Trump is actually guilty here?
I'm saying that if you bother to consult your memory for the prior year, it wasn't simply Dems expressing concern about Trump's ties to Russia, the way he seems to be favoring them repeatedly on national security issues, the way he seems to repeatedly undermine any investigation into the situation, etc.
Republicans about 6 months ago were some of the loudest critics of him on this, including many prominent ones.
They've all sunk back into the woodwork, sadly. Keeping their heads down. Waiting to see what happens.
Cowards, one and all. They deserve what is coming to them.

The White House claims that it is going through the process of an honest review of the memo before release. However, when Trump found out that the doj was trying to block release, he started screaming at people on Air Force One. And, last night, when asked he said 100% he was going to release the memo. The whole thing is such a charade.

I saw a quote, but can't find the actual official timestamp statement anywhere.
Maybe it's true, Wray and IG Horowitz might have additional evidence, or corrections; since the release of all the original documents to Paul Ryan and Nunes.
Fundamental problem is that it is incomplete. It cherry-picks things which make it look as though bias is what caused the warrant to get issued. It intentionally omits other sources of information which, in addition to the items cited, provided the court with a sufficient basis to approve the warrant.
As noted yesterday, Nunez was asked whether he had worked with the White House on this memo and he refused to answer.
In my view, a separate special counsel is now necessary to investigate whether there has been collusion between Nunes and the White House which is going to result in the release of either classified information, or information which is intentionally designing to mislead people with the official seal of the house. I think mr. Nunes needs to get himself a very good attorney. I think anyone he's working within the White House also needs an attorney.
