If the 2022 midterms showed anything it’s that, nationally, the GOP is shedding moderates at an alarming rate. They may be voting third party or not at all and not for Dems, but It cost them the Senate and nearly cost them the house. But they seem intent on sticking with Trump and his brand of nut jobs. Desantis is too far into it now. He’ll be accused of being a groomer pedophile or a member of the deep state before Iowa even is a thought. Trump is already warming up with his teenage antics. I’ll just sit back and enjoy the fireworks. I don’t think the GOP learned anything from the midterms.

You've got no chance for a fiscal conservative as our next President. The closest thing we've ever had for a fiscal conservative would be Bill Clinton and he was likely forced into it by a GOP Congress. Reagan spent big money. So did both Bush presidents.

The only fiscal conservative in Congress right now is Rand Paul. You're looking for a unicorn if you're looking for a fiscal conservative

As far as secession, I refer to it to as kicking them out and we maintain the USC and Republic form of gov.

That move IMO was just a "look at me sticking it to the woke", if he'll pull stunts like that at the state level just imagine what he could do from the WH.

There are some good people in Congress..hard to find and not the plurality. Behind the scenes.
Those chairs hold so much value and that is when the "party politics" take over.
