Red meat yes. But as Breitbart used to say, politics is downstream of culture. Destiny will invariably follow what our culture endorses. Taxied and spending mean nothing when Western Civilization is neutered to the point of meaninglessness. Do you really think capitalism and freedom can exist in a world in which your every thought and word are controlled by amoral deviants?
True, both parties will eventually spend is into financial oblivion. But at least one of the two parties will allow us to maintain the civilization need to restore society. Both parties are robbing us blind. But the Democrats are murdering us while they take our wallets.

To tell you the truth I’ve started concentrating on who I’m voting for in local, state and house elections. No matter who the candidates are running POTUS they will support more spending, more intrusion into our lives and more war. Our only defense to them is electing local and state officials who will rebuff those efforts while not infringing on our rights in doing so.

There is a concerning air of ambition about him. That gives me my only pause as it makes me wonder how sincere or deep his opinions go and if he will ditch some of them once the primary is over

I totally agree with all this, but of it comes down to him or Joe...well I can't see voting for voting for the guy that'll be within shouting distance of 90 years old at the end of his next term.

I get that. I just see DeSantis as being not much different than Biden. Still going to spend, still going to grow the federal government and still will trample individual liberties when politically advantageous to him.
