Serious Question: how would y’all handle a situation where you know you ex isn’t going to be able to afford any Christmas presents for your adult aged children, but you also don’t want them to wake up on Christmas morning without anything? (They are both in college, but still live in the “family” home, where I still pay all the bills, while I live in a one bedroom apartment in the city.… I know… I’m complicated) Divorces and Holidays…

Not that legitimate…I have been his cash cow for 20 years, because he’s only worked part time minimum wage jobs since leaving the Army….Get them whatever you can afford. Don't go into (or deeper into) debt for a present. Christmas isn't about the gifts. It's about being Thankful you arent a Longhorn fan.
Does he have a legitimate reason why he can't afford anything?
Don't take this section literally @SumSoonerChick

They’re adults. And they’re aware of the situation. If he has some sort of relationship with them, they can enjoy a non-gifting Christmas.Serious Question: how would y’all handle a situation where you know you ex isn’t going to be able to afford any Christmas presents for your adult aged children, but you also don’t want them to wake up on Christmas morning without anything?
