a few years ago I had a student, and his granny knew how much I'd tried to help him and was appreciative....she'd come up to school with a bushel basket in the back of the truck, and one day it might have three or four dozen quarts of pickled eggs, pickled okra, dill pickles, bread and butter pickles, bread and butter relish, strawberry jam, not to mention fresh vegetables....she was a good 'un, man I tell you what....when my wife got sick the first time, she'd call and offer to drive that stuff over to our house....seriously may her soul forever have rest.....very special lady
