Yes, that picture is. After the rice is cooked and still warm mix it with sugar, vinegar and salt. After it cools mix it with the warm marshmallow butter mix.

Other versions use rice krispies.

Yankme might be able to splain it betterer, but a friend of mine told me they called them camel spiders, sun spiders and wind scorpions. They’re not harmful they just look it.

That is, if that is in fact what that is. And I ain't saying it is hence the question mark in my op.

Like you, harmless or not, the further away I am from one the better.
