yeah I get it. It's a very expensive cut of meat. That's why I didn't buy it. But you can't tell me just once you wouldn't indulge on a piece of steak like that. The cut is beautiful.

it's all about that crust. I love cooking on the grill but the cast iron gets all the juices and sear going. So why not combine the best of both worlds

If the bottom of your skillet cruds up on the grill (although who cares), you can rub a bar of soap over the bottom before grilling. Yer welcome

STFU, if you have enough $$$ to pay $15 a lb for something that does nothing for the steak, then you got too much $$$. The steak was beautiful but that 2 ft bone was stupid. I do eat $30 ribeyes on occasion, but ain't stupidt enough to pay for a handle.

Hadn’t thought of using it in a crockpot. I’ll see if it fits. That would fix a couple of problems for me.
