I've had least one pair of 900 series NB on hand for well over 30 years. Basically, since I was old enough to realize that the shoe salespeople who tell a wide-footed person to buy a D and let it stretch out with wear are full of shite. For plain old shoes, I discovered New Balance about 20 years ago. Once I found a pair that worked for my feet (high arches), I was able to look up the last on which they were built, and whenever they fell apart, I could order a new pair built on the same last. Even when they looked entirely different.
Since I really hate shopping, this was wonderful in simplifying my life.
—but they’re just sneakers.
Both of those are sweet.I wear these to walk around in

still searching for the right running shoe post foot injury, but these were my favorites prior:

Thanks. The Cloudswifts are perfect for my feet. I’m flat footed and like how they give my toes room. Both of those are sweet.
Well, I didn't try to do that. This is why no matter what fail guy, souce, weezy, or anyone else says, this is Behr’s cooking thread. No one else could’ve tied shoes and culinary expertise together
My mom is a manager of a fast food chain. She’s getting up there in age (65) and deals with back, foot, and knee problems. I used to complain all the time that she needed to wear proper footwear. Finally one of her docs recommended clogs (at least similar to what you posted) and they’ve helped a lot.Well, I didn't try to do that.
Back in 1999 I ordered a pair of tennis shoe type non skid kitchen shoe from Chefuniforms.com. The screwed up and sent me those. I've Had at least two pair in my possession ever since. As goofy as I thought and still think they look, I've actually wear them with jeans sometimes out and about. I wear them at home when I'm seriously into getting stuff done in the kitchen.
1. I ain't no Chef, but that kinda thing don't seem to matter around here.AYE @Behr, I thought you ain't a chef!!! So why u been orderin chit from chefuniforms.com????
Wish I had worn them all the time, maybe I wouldn't have some if the problems I'm having now.My mom is a manager of a fast food chain. Wish I wasn't so indecisive. I'm the same way about alot of things, like my watch.Thanks. The Cloudswifts are perfect for my feet. I’m flat footed and like how they give my toes room.
I run on the middle of my feet to the front, so I don’t pronate (roll my feet/ankles) inward as much as most flat feet people do, so I only need a little stability when running. The Cloudflyers have been great for that. And their current color schemes have orange, so that’s a plus.
