I joke about chicken tartare, but its actually a thing and I know people that "say" they love it. I have not witnessed them in the act, but I have no reason to doubt them. Technically I think its more like ceviche, but whatever, its beyond stupid either way.I prefer to sear them for about 30 seconds on each side. Nothin like raw chicken.

And to be honest, I've had a pretty bad case of food poisoning from a Denny's. When I think about chicken tartare, I don't even consider dying, that's not what bothers me about it.
IMO if you worry about dying from food poisoning, you've never had a genuine bad case if it.

I have no problem with raw fish and Steak tartare, but chicken I don’t understand. I guess the way we have always raised chickens in coops so diseases could run rampant doesn’t help.
