The Culinary Arts Thread

Well thanks for killing my mid life crisis jeep idea yawl.
Wasn't my intention. I said I loved it, I just thought I'd give you the straight up low down. The saying about boats was true with my boat and that Jeep..."the best 2 days of my life were the day I got them and the day I got rid of them".

If you get one I'll be happy for you and excited to see pics and hear all about what your doing with it.

I know. What year was your jeep? I have looked up the best and worst years the 2015 and newer seem to be getting better. I always liked the i6 4.0 and jeep from 2000 to 2006. I do know I want a manual

I put these fender flares on it, and that was a royal pita!!!!

I bought it with the rock crawler undercarriage already installed and a Smittybuilt 12,000 lb winch with a custom steel bumper. Receipts showed over $5,000 for just those. No telling how much I spent on other accessories including a $300 set of tools just to maintain the little things, changing turn signal bulbs, tightening screws and bolts...nothing big. Lol.

Then I joined the Caloosahatchee Jeepster Jeep club. They were always going on trips, meeting for dinner, etc. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

I forgot to take pictures, but I lined the bottom of my air fryer with non stick aluminum foil. Then sliced some baby bellos and covered the bottom. Peeled and deveined a pound of 31-35 shrimp, cut them in half and put them on top of the mushrooms.

Then added diced red bell, jalapeño and fresh garlic on top of that. Then added a dozen eggs and topped that with whole pink peppercorns.

Adjusted the temp and time 4 times. Next time it'll probably take 20 minutes at 380 and covered.

Cut it like pie and served it with fresh diced tomatoes and scallions Then finished it with black truffle infused olive oil.

I'll do it again. With the same and different ingredients too.

Were the eggs scrambled, so like a frittata? Or whole, like baked (?) eggs?

Interesting. Boon!

I've stayed away from all things Top Gun:Maverick except for release date updates. Today I opened a link to see about the release date and ended up reading ....until I got to this. Then I immediately copied it and exited ...stage left.

Top Gun: Maverick
will also star Jennifer Connelly, who plays Penny Benjamin. Penny is a single mom who runs a bar near the Navy base.

I'm literally about to have a heart attack. Lol. How cool is that!?

Tools is something everyone should have you can't put that on the jeep. Was yours a manual?
