Amazing! The salmon fillets are a perfect portion size for me. I just used lemon pepper, lemon juice and a little olive oil to season. It’s my favorite way to season salmon, so I figured it would be a good base to truly test the flavor. Incredible flavor, so tender with the salmon. The scallops were way better than the last ones I had in the air fryer, but I think from now on I’m going back to pan searing. Seems to have a more more robust flavor that way. Also, there’s like four portions (when combined with the salmon) so I’m hoping the other 9 that I put in a freezer bag hold up.Hey, how was your salmon and scallops last night?
4ish scallops is a great compliment to the salmon. I cooked two salmon fillets (I’ll probably have the other one tomorrow) and nine scallops. There were still nine scallops that I didn’t cook. I put them into a zip loc freezer bag and hopefully can cook them later. Hopefully they hold up in the zip loc bag.I don't know if I understand that. 9 scallops? 4 portions?
Lulz, yeah I thought you had 4 scallops to a portion so that would be 2 portions with 1 left. Doesn't matter I was just thinking I was missing something. Turns out you can't math.4ish scallops is a great compliment to the salmon. I cooked two salmon fillets (I’ll probably have the other one tomorrow) and nine scallops. 18 scallops in the shipped bag. I ate five last night, the other serving I prepared has four. There’s nine scallops left over in that zip loc bag. Plus a whole nother full bag that was shipped to me.Lulz, yeah I thought you had 4 scallops to a portion so that would be 2 portions with 1 left. They'll be fine in the freezer. I always squeeze as much air out and make sure it's sealed then it's good to go for a couple of months.
If I get 4000 a day I am happy. Some news for those of us with physical issues that make 10,000 steps pretty unlikely at the moment. (I’ve repeatedly wound up stuck on the couch for several days after going over 5,500-6,000 steps):
Do We Really Need to Take 10,000 Steps a Day for Our Health?
So the 10,000 step goal was actually a fluke of Japanese calligraphy (and clever marketing.)
More steps (and general activity) are obviously better up to a point, but for some of us, “the greatest enemy of a good plan is the dream of a perfect plan.”
