I need to update to a "smartphone." I'd like to combine my Palm and my phone into one. I use Palm software in the office for drug-dosing, etc., but most programs offer versions in other formats. (Ideally, I'd like to add my iPod, too, but the capabilities of the iPhone are a bit too limited, from what I hear.)
The beef I hear with Blackberries is the software: limited and incompatible with other OS's. But, I don't hear great things about the Palm treo's either. My friend in Nashville, also a doctor, hated his last Motorola Q. Dad got a Blackberry World Edition and seems to like it, but he doesn't text much.
Any suggestions?

you can just post them to the notes in Outlook and it will sync them at the first shot. I'm assuming you have them as notes in the Palm software.Anyone have the BB Curve?
Also, how easy is it to transfer Palm-based "memos" to a BB or Windows Mobile OS? I have a decent library of clinical pearls, coding guidelines, etc. that I would really like to keep without retyping everything.
