Thanks for posting, but I don't need to watch that, I lived it. I know what Pearl can do as a coach. But, there are many on here that have forgotten, so enjoy the video!

Mark Gottfried did both of these at Alabama. I don't see #BBMark coming out of the gumps. And he didn't even get Bama in hot water with the NCAA.

Only two coaches have had the kind of success that Pearl has had at Tennessee and the other is not available. It could be argued that Pearl in some ways was the more successful of those two in the short term. Green had success too but not at that level. Does Hart bring Pearl back (if Martin is really gone)? If he decides not to then he should bring in someone that has the ability to recruit and coach. And apparently the winning formula has been to get someone winning over 80% of their games at a small school. Tennessee has had two coaches with the ability to recruit and coach with that stat on their resume' and both were very successful here. That's what I would look for. Please, no more hot coaches from mid majors with 60% win percentages. Tennessee fans want more.

IMO, Hart needs to bring Pearl back with EXTREME contract limitations for the first 2 or 3 years. Pearl did more with less than any UT BB coach, ever.

Pearl is a perfect fit for UT. yes he screwed up a ton, but the man has learned from his mistake! his punishment was ridiculous. I think the ego's in the AD and cheek need to let it go...

Just like he learned from his mistakes at Iowa and Milwaukee...
