Would you be for Bruce Pearl's return if Martin is fired after next year?

The next time you lie to the governing body of your employer (IRS, health department, etc) and your actions result in you being fired, try going back to them 4 years later and tell them you can be hired again. See how well that works for you.

All depends on how much money you were making them vs now.

The comparison is relevant, but you're probably right. Somebody, somewhere at smaller school will hire Pearl . . . but it can't be us.

Not a smaller school, Pearl will land an major job right off the bat.

Ok, he's served his time and is eligible to coach.
You've never made a mistake in your life I presume?

If you lied to your boss and were fired would he pay you millions of dollars to come back four years later? Doubt it.

It depends if u r a CEO making your company millions but lied about something stupid and u fired him for principal. Then the company started losing money, yeah they would consider hiring him back.

Example....

and while you're at it, a link to something saying the basketball program has lost millions since Pearl left.

I don't think we will hire him either although I would if i was the AD. I do think some boosters will push for him though.

And it would be an absolutely terrible move, because you'd have the NCAA sniffing around the program non stop. Is that really in the best interest of the program? No. Yet another person that doesn't need to be the AD.

Nah not afraid of the NCAA and don't care what they think.....just hire a lawyer like Auburn did and watch the NCAA fold like a little b&tch.
