They don't hand out show causes for no reason.

Pearl was a cheater and a liar and I'm thankful I don't have to worry about him or his man tits disgracing my school anymore than he already has.

I don't know if deserved is the best word. Did he screw up royally? Yes. He knows it too. However, what he did is still not nearly as bad as what some guys have been caught with and what some guys haven't been caught with. His problem was trying to cover up something small which led to something big.

The fact of the matter is that in 2 years he'll coaching and winning big somewhere else.

I'm sure it sure as hell didn't benefit the search.

How many coaches are willing to leave their job not knowing what the NCAA ruling will be and how it is going to impact the current roster and their future roster? Not many. That is why only a mid-major coach like Martin was willing to take the jump because the monetary reward was worth the risk.

Also, Hammy was in the process of replacing a hoops coach and a baseball coach that he had hired and fired himself. So, the Pearl and Raleigh hires didn't end well and anyone with half of a brain knew that Hammy might not be their boss for long and was on thin ice. Coaches want to know who the AD is going to be, who they're going to be working with and who is going to be their boss during their tenure. I guarantee you that had an impact.

I am for it, I would not say there is no chance. Bruce is waiting for and hoping for a chance again. Why would he still be in Knoxville. This is a bad loss and it is getting old quick.

There is no chance. None. The fact that so many fans even flaunt this as a possibility shows that this is the dumbest ****ing fanbase in sports.

There is no way that Pearl could/will be coming back but a lot of fans including myself dont consider what he did to be that bad.

Nope, he's not coming back.

Any so-called Vol BB fan who doesn't appreciate what Pearl did for our program (#1 ranking, elite 8, SEC championship, etc) can esad.

I doubt there's anyone on here who doesn't appreciate what Pearl did for the program. People elevating him to deity status are ****ed up in the head.
