To each his own Friendsville. I'm glad you enjoy mediocre basketball. Do you purchase season tickets. Donate to the Athletics Dept,? I hope so or otherwise it's easy to sit at home and watch pathetic basketball on TV and not get upset vs. Spending thousands of dollars and time going to the games.

However, I am becoming increasingly frustrated with our Administration over the years and their lack of interest in a winning program. Mike Hamilton got lucky with the Pearl hire and brought us the best 6 years in the history of our program. I yearn for more of this and know that the only way this is going to happen is by bringing CBP back as our coach. As fans, the only " influence" we have is donating money and purchasing tickets. We need to let our voices be heard and I am one season ticket holder that will not return next year ( as well as several of my friends that have said the same thing) unless CBP is our coach.

If you are only going to purchase season tickets for one coach, you are sad and again, good riddance.

you notice how a few posters cant even talk about the good times? can't even discuss them without going self righteous or but he lied mode or remind of a bad loss mode.

Not a knock on Butch, but do you think S. Carolina hires a mid major in football if Spurrier retired tomorrow? I like their dedication for trying to be a player in big time athletics.

I'm not wasting money anymore unless they hire a proven winner that is a name coach. I will still be a fan like you and sit home and watch on TV

But look at Texas football. They just hired a guy from the American Athletic Conference which is mid major.

And trust me I know my measly couple of thousand dollars aren't going to make or break our Program, however , I can assure you I won't be the only one. Fans are sick and tired of paying top dollar prices for mid- level programs. I also have football tix but am excited about the future of this program because of Butch Jones. I was skeptical of him at first but he has the program headed in the right direction. Basketball, not so much.

in general, there are obviously those that don't care for Pearl that are never in the Pearl threads talking about the glory days.

I will be ecstatic with 6-6 and will follow them to their bowl game. He inherited a mess and is rebuilding it with a top 5 recruiting class. Martin inherited some good players, recruited a very good one, and has not improved the program in 3 years.

No I get that. I'm not really on the whole "bring Bruce back bandwagon" but I wouldn't be up in arms if he was like some seem to act. I don't see it happening either but would be fine with it.

I've only seen a handful maybe of people that have out and out stated they do not want Pearl back period, and it's people that hated him even while he was here. I find it hard to believe hardly any would be really, really angry if they brought him back.
