The bitch thread, what's your beef?

OE!!!! I am not close to 40! Not that there is anything wrong with that, but I am not close to 40

And ya, I appreciate a teen being polite but it just throws me sometimes. You get it all the time. I'm sure I'd call you sir if you pulled me over and then I'd show you my Hannity's Hottie T, Hahahaha!

Sorry Maam ,:) Hope your not offended

Being called Maam. After everyone's input I suppose they were just boys being boys and now their dads are just being dads. And even though the girl that called me Maam was just being polite, it just surprised me that she saw me like that. I just wondered how old she thought I was!

How old was the girl, remember when you were a teenager anyone over thirty seemed old. It is all relative.

My bitch is people like cashiers, waitresses, etc. calling me either sweety or honey. I usually come back calling them darling or baby and sometimes with my best Joey from Friends impersonation How you doing.

Turning on MTV and finding no music most of the time. They have all these stupid games, interviews, commercials...anything but music. How can they call themselves MUSIC TV? They have forgotten what they SHOULD BE FOR...listening to music. My chances of getting music are better on the fashion channel.....ridiculous. :furious3:

Hey let's go watch cartoons on the movie channel:popcorn::crazy::crazy:

I'm gonna go ahead and say smoking with a kid in the car AGAIN! I was having lunch and looked up only to see one of today's young women with that lovely EAT SH$$ look on her face huffing away on a nic stic only to see in her back seat a rear facing car seat with a little hand reaching up to hit the toys.

My wife got mad because the waitress called me honey... some sothern girls just do that, I don't think they mean anything by it, but I get what you're saying. I think it was more of the fact she was flirting with me and every other guy in there (probably trying to get a tip).

Care to elaborate? My bitch.......people that refer to some event they just witnessed without telling you what happened.:p

Allright, so one of my students brings to me a document promoting racism towards virtually every ethnic group and religion. He brought it thinking I would find it humorous. I dont even slightly, so I marked it offensive and gave it to an AP here at school. I told him I found it offensive and said can you take care of this. I was utterly shocked when the student returned with him. The AP asked him to apologize to me and return to class. That was it.

Now you must understand that this is a very small school and racisim runs rampid amoungst the natives on both sides. This however is a freshman and he has been adament with his social group of "country kids" about wearing rebel flag shirts, ect....

I expect this to be handled as a School policy of Zero tolerence considering the kid has been in a ton of trouble, our demographic is about 50/50 white and black.

Instead, it was handled as if he said a cuss word and I......I have over reacted. I am about to walk out.

What kind of school?

was is a paper of off color jokes, or some sort of moronic klan manifesto?

The latter of the two. It basically was a document that praised the ideology of it "Not being considered Racisim if blacks or other ethnic groups call whites Honkies ect...." It went on to elaborate on all the racial terms that are commonly used towards a broad collection of minority groups. Listing them at one point I might add.

The kid was sent back to class after a mere, "I'm sorry."

Yep, we have had some recent problems in and around Nashville recently as well. Our kids these days just don't seem to be getting it.[/QUOTE]

Understatement of the decade. This is my 5th year as an educator/coach in public schools and I have never seen a more messed up culture of young people.
