His name being brought up as a rebuttal to Ohtani as Ohtani pokes a grand slam in the WBC when Ohtani has multiple seasons with higher WAR than Bo's career tally... just puts me more of thinking of him (in baseball) as comparable to, say, Byron Buxton, not Shohei Ohtani. And I will sit in my wrongness as I ponder it.
And, admittedly, I do not know Ohtani's field day sprinting numbers from his younger years.
