2026 salary is absolutely voided. I think there is a decent argument to be made the Atl should be able to get out of the contract completely, though I am sure the MLBPA would fight it.

In theory, when Murphy comes back he and Drake should be able to split DH duties. But we need an extra OFer now regardless. IMO, use the money on Littell or Gio.

Edit: I did not realize Kepler was suspended too. The FA options really are garbage.

Probably not a good option, but I think Alvarez getting every day AB's in left and then signing McCutchen to DH with Yaz might be the move. I don't have much hope in Nacho but he's 23 and has a good track record in the minors. Give him 2 months and see what happens.
