Venezuela has a really good team, but man the USA is loaded everywhere. The 2 best pitchers in all of baseball. The best hitter in baseball. 3 of the 4 best home run hitters in all of baseball.

Skubal is going to throw about 4 innings of a pool play game they were going to win anyway before dipping out so the pitching is actually a concern, but yes, they will score.

The pitching thing is why I can’t totally get into the WBC. It’s not always the best pitchers representing their country and they’re usually handled like it’s a spring training game. I get why it has to be that way, but it does take some of the shine off, IMO.
